NOVEMBER, 2007


United States Navy Special Warfare issues Contract for the new Mark 16 Mod 3 Underwater Breathing Apparatus, which is powered by the JUERGENSEN DEFENSE CORPORATION Mark V eCCR Control System.


This proprietary rebreather control system is the most advanced in the world, and fully compliant for MCM (Mine CounterMeasure) and Special Warfare Missions.  It is the only system in the world to meet the highest standards for Defense Closed Circuit Mixed Gas Rebreathers.


Building on years of success as the world’s foremost Electronic Control System for Civilian Rebreathers (the “Hammerhead”), Juergensen engineers designed the Mark V system from the ground up, giving it multi-platform, multi-mission capability with a host of features and capabilities.


JANUARY, 2007


United States Navy Explosive Ordinance Disposal issues Contract for the new Mark 16 Mod 2 Underwater Breathing Apparatus, which is powered by the JUERGENSEN DEFENSE CORPORATION Mark V eCCR Control System.  This Contract issuance completes the process whereby the USN selected the “Next generation Underwater Breathing Apparatus” (NUBA), which saw competition between the 3 top military rebreathers in the world.


NOVEMBER, 2006


Turkish Naval Forces, NATO, take delivery of NATO Viper E sets from Carleton Life Support.  These are the first deployed sets of Viper E types in the world, and represent only the beginning of the Viper E integration into military forces around the globe.
